Spoonies will return in 2026!

NOTE: Spoonies is in transition from a corporation to becoming a non-profit society with a cooperative-like structure, which will align more with our beliefs and values. We anticipate being up and running by mid-2026 at the latest. Feel free to reach out, but at this time, we are not offering active services. Thank you!

What if you could succeed?

What if you could find a workplace that accepted and supported you as a whole person? What if you had a team placing you in supportive workplaces? What if you had an advocacy team, basic mental health support, and access to resources to help you achieve your career goals? You would succeed.

What is Spoon Theory?

Much of our work is based on supporting those living with disabilities, as well as those within the LGBTQ2IA+ and BIPOC communities. Spoon theory was developed by Christine Miserandino in 2003 to express how it felt to live with chronic illness and disability. Today, it has helped many people living with disabilities of all types to verbalise the energy it takes to live with limited energy (or spoons) for everyday tasks.
