Companies are fully able to recruit from our pool of workers, provided that the employee accepts the offer. We provide some supports for 3 months after recruitment.
Career Counselling
We offer free career consulting and planning with one of our support workers who help workers to figure out their next steps in their career.
Temporary Job Placements
Our roster of workers are called ‘spoonies’. Once someone is on our roster, they can be placed in temp positions that meet their skills and abilities. This allows employers to possibly hire them on permanently.
Access to Training Courses
We sometimes find that we need to upgrade our skills, or add a new skill, to achieve success and find a great job. We will either provide a course or refer you to where you can get the training or certification.
Negotiations and Accommodations
We arrange for accommodations with your employer to match your needs and help you feel safe and supported. Think of us as your built-in support team.
Mental Health Supports
Through our sister company, VLG Counselling Inc, we provide access to drop-in support groups, and further support services as we develop them.
